Air pollution control
With the enforcement of stricter environmental legislation, companies need more and more frequently appropriate technical expertise in order to control their air emissions.
As a result of the extended professional experience of EESAC's team, our services include practical support for the:
- Advanced understanding of chemical reactions in cement and lime kilns leading to the release of emissions (NOx, SO2, CO, HCl, HF, heavy metals, TOC, specific organics like chlorinated aromatics, ...)
- Pilot testing of new abatement technologies for the treatment of combustion gases on site
- Identification of process conditions and selection of fuels enabling emissions to comply with local emission standards
- Selection and implementation of abatement techniques like
- deNOx (SCR, SNCR, air staging),
- acid gas capture (SO2, HCl and HF) with different sorbent technologies
- treatment of organic compounds (thermal or catalytic oxidation, adsorption with specific sorbents)
