Based on the historical emissions and the reduction target,
decision to
implement a
Selective Non Catalytic Reduction (SNCR) for the NO
x emissions
Tasks carried out:
- Identification of the ideal window of temperature for the SNCR
- Identification of the physical area corresponding to the range of temperatures required for the SNCR
- Selection of the detailed injection technology through pilot tests
- Determination of the optimal location of the injectors as a function of the
diameter of the droplets and the spatial distribution of the temperature
- Selection of the optimal reducing agent (urea vs. ammonia)
- Basic engineering
Results:
NOx abatement up to 80%
